Every year, Northwestern student theatre board WAVE Productions selects three new student directors to feature in their festival of one-acts alongside producing and design teams predominantly made up of first-year students. I was selected as a director during my first year at Northwestern and chose to work on Floss: a piece centered around a pair of old friends keeping their relationship alive via tin-can phone.
